We are a Community School!
Meet Your Coordinator!
Mrs. V. Zamudio
My name is Veronica Zamudio, and I am thrilled to share my inspiring journey and professional path. Moving to the U.S. at the age of 16, I graduated from Edison High School and spent five transformative years in Southwest Fresno before seeking new experiences in Chicago. Upon my return to Fresno, I worked as a Home School Liaison at Gaston Middle School, where I have dedicated the last five years of my life. During this time, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Culture and Society, followed by a Master of Arts in School Counseling from Fresno Pacific University, reflecting my deep commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of students.
Currently, I have the honor of serving as the Community School Coordinator at Gaston Middle School. In this role, I blend my passion for education with a strong commitment to community engagement. Collaborating closely with students, families, and local organizations, I strive to create a supportive and enriching environment that encourages academic success and personal growth. Through this position, I hope to leverage my skills and life experiences to profoundly impact the lives of those in my community within the Fresno Unified School District. My goal in this role transcends merely coordinating acts of service; it is to unite programs and services while forging community partnerships that inspire transformative change in our community.
