MISSION
The Gaston After-School Program seeks to provide a safe supportive, and structured environment that supports overall health, well-being, and enrich the lives of children in the community. Our Program looks to enhance parent involvement, in doing so; we support families in their efforts to reach goals. The Gaston After-School Program will maintain and continue to communicate and collaborate with the daytime teachers to be in accordance with teaching techniques. We support and follow the school’s motto “ROAR”.
What We Have To Offer
The Gaston After-School Program offers a safe place for homework tutorials, enriching academics, healthy snacks, and cultivating clubs for all students to get involved in.
Tutoring
Homework is a top priority in the Gaston After-School Program. We strongly focus on homework to ensure that every student is academically successful. We assist students with all subject matters and challenge our students to excel and strive to reach their fullest potential.
Clubs
Clubs are very popular among out students. Each of the clubs meets twice a week and there are new clubs offered each quarter. The diversity of the clubs range from sports, leadership, dance, computers, technology, science, arts, cooking, and much more. There is a club available to fit everyone’s likes and interests.
Extreme Fridays
Every Friday a different activity is offered that all students are able to participate in together as a group. Sometimes they are a little wild and crazy, but they are always safe and enriching for all students.
